Illoria Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 22, 2026
Overview
Illoria stores core gameplay-related information locally on your device so the game can remember your settings, progress, local leaderboard data, and suspended runs.
Illoria does not require internet access for normal gameplay.

Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Illoria stores certain game data locally on your device in order to function properly. This may include:
- Settings, such as audio preferences and intro/tutorial dismissal preferences
- Campaign progress, including completed levels, best star ratings, and biome-related unlock state
- Local leaderboard records stored on your device
- Suspended or in-progress run data used for save/resume behavior
This information is stored locally in the app's Application Support folder on your device. In the current version of the app, this local gameplay data is not transmitted to us by Illoria during normal gameplay.

Based on the current version of Illoria:
- We do not require account creation
- We do not collect your name, email address, or other personal profile information through the app
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs
- We do not use third-party in-app analytics or telemetry SDKs

- We do not collect location data
- We do not collect contacts, photos, camera data, microphone data, or files outside normal app storage for core gameplay

Network Use
Illoria is a local-first game. During normal gameplay, Illoria does not send general gameplay analytics or telemetry to our servers.
The app may open external links, such as a privacy policy URL, in your default browser. If you visit our website or contact us by email, those interactions take place outside the app and may be governed by the policies and practices of the relevant website host, email provider, or platform.
Apple and App Store Data
If Illoria is distributed through Apple's platforms, Apple may provide us with aggregated or account-level information through App Store Connect, such as downloads, crash information, or App Analytics reports.
This information comes from Apple under Apple's own policies and platform rules. It is not the same as Illoria embedding third-party in-app tracking SDKs.
If Illoria offers an optional full-game unlock through Apple's in-app purchase system, purchase processing, payment information, refunds, and related account handling are handled by Apple. Illoria uses StoreKit transaction status only to determine whether purchased content should be unlocked in the app.
Third Parties
Illoria does not currently use third-party advertising or third-party in-app analytics services to collect personal data from players through the app.
However, if you interact with external services outside the app, such as:
- visiting our website
- submitting support emails
- accessing hosted policy pages
those services may process normal technical information such as IP address, browser metadata, or email metadata under their own privacy terms.
How You Can Control or Delete Local Data
You can control or remove local game data in several ways:
- Use the in-app Reset Progress option to erase local progress and local leaderboard data stored by the app
- Uninstall the app
- On Mac, manually remove the app's local support files, if desired
In the current version of the app, local files may be stored in standard app storage on your device, such as the app container on iPhone or iPad, or the Illoria Application Support folder on Mac.
Children's Privacy
Illoria does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe personal information has been provided to us in error outside the app, contact us and we will review the request.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version at the applicable privacy policy URL and update the effective date above.
